Staff electric vehicle charging stations

To support staff to use electric vehicles, we've installed electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

If you drive an electric vehicle, you can use our:

• staff-only charging stations at St Lucia
• public charging stations at St Lucia, Gatton and Warwick.

For some staff-only charging stations, you'll need to hold a parking permit. Other stations are open to all staff.

Payment

You must pay to use staff-only charging stations, including if you have a parking permit. See the rates for each station below.

To be able to pay, you must use the CellOPark app. In the app:

1. Go to ‘My Profile’.
2. Select UQ as your ‘Institute’.
3. Enter your staff ID number or username in the ‘Student/Staff ID’ field. Staff of UQ Union and UQ controlled entities (UQ Sport, JKTech, UniQuest, UQ College, UQ Health Care, UQ Residence) will need an affiliate account.
