The UQ Staff Intranet will launch on Tuesday 10 February. Designed for today’s workplace, the Staff Intranet provides quick access to staff information and personalised search, and helps you stay connected across UQ in a secure, modern environment.
Applications for 2026 parking permits are open via ePermit. The vendor has advised earlier technical issues have been resolved. All permits used in 2025 are no longer valid, so you need an approved 2026 permit to park in staff permit areas from Monday 9 February. For those who use casual parking, you can download the PayStay app and set up your account in preparation. Instructions are on the UQ website, and you can visit drop-in stands at St Lucia, Herston and Dutton Park this week to ask questions about PayStay and ePermit. Parking remains complimentary until Sunday 8 February.
UQ’s new Digital Asset Manager (DAM) is now live. Welcome to a better way of working – with sophisticated search, in-platform templates, consent management, interactive brand guidelines, a new message bank and more. All staff can access the new DAM by logging in with their UQ username and password. A short video is available on the dashboard to help get you started.
Next week, from Monday 9 to Friday 13 February, is Ready to Teach Week. The Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation (ITaLI) is hosting a lineup of practical, hands-on seminars and workshops to help you develop course materials and prepare for the upcoming semester.
