COVID advice for the UQ community
Ready to Teach Week (Monday 6 – Friday 10 February) and Ready to Tutor Week (Tuesday 21 – Thursday 23 February) are fast approaching. Don’t forget to register for events if you are preparing for teaching in Semester 1.
To help maintain our beautiful University environment and prepare for the start of 2023, the Property & Facilities division is encouraging all staff to participate in a general campus clean-up and de-clutter between Wednesday 25 January and Wednesday 8 February.
UQ’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) was launched in 2018 to help the UQ community meaningfully engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. To help develop the next stage of the UQ RAP – the Stretch RAP – you are invited to participate in a consultation workshop. In-person staff workshops will be held on Wednesday 22 February and Thursday 23 February, and online workshops will run on Monday 27 February and Friday 10 March. Please register by 9am on Friday 13 February.
There are simple steps you can take to help protect your property and reduce the risk of theft. Register for free access to UQ’s bike boxes and end-of-trip facilities. When securing your bike or scooter, always use a high-quality lock and park in well-lit areas.
