UQ Giving Day is this Wednesday 15 October. Join the more than 700 people who have donated so far to make a difference in the lives of students, researchers and the wider community.

Study for Staff applications closing soon

Don’t miss your chance to take advantage of UQ’s Study for Staff program in 2026. This program offers staff access to generous subsidies – up to 75% off course fees – for all UQ graduate certificates to help support your growth and career development. If you intend to begin studying in Semester 1 or Semester 2, 2026, submit your Study for Staff application by Friday 31 October.

UQ Awards for Excellence nominees

Congratulations to the staff who have been nominated for 2025 UQ Awards for Excellence. These awards celebrate our colleagues, their successes and their achievements across 7 categories: community; innovation; service; diversity and inclusion; mental and physical health, safety and wellness; leadership; and allyship. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 23 October.
