Upcoming parking changes

The University will introduce new ways to pay for parking at UQ locations in February 2026, including a new parking app, more flexible and simpler staff permit options, and updated parking rates.

2026 Campus Clean-Up

The 2026 Campus Clean-Up is on now. Take some time to declutter your workspace and shared areas, and dispose of items responsibly – recycle paper, cardboard and e-waste, and upload good-quality furniture to UQ WARPit for reuse. Skip bins are available across all campuses for hard rubbish and unwanted items until Friday 13 February.

Ready to Teach Week and Ready to Tutor Week

Get ready for Semester 1 2026 with Ready to Teach Week (Monday 9 to Friday 13 February) and Ready to Tutor Week (Tuesday 24 to Thursday 26 February). Registrations are now open for an exciting lineup of practical, hands-on seminars and workshops to help you develop course materials and prepare for the upcoming semester.

Microsoft Store access removed

From Monday 2 February, the Microsoft Store will no longer be accessible on UQ-managed devices. Software should only be downloaded to UQ-managed devices using Company Portal (Windows) and Self Service (Mac). If you believe that you need software that is not available from the software catalogue, you can submit a request to Information Technology Services.
