Toner replacement

If a printer's toner cartridge needs to be replaced, please follow the relevant instructions below. If you are unable to complete the process, please contact your local administration team for assistance.

Konica

Konica devices should have spare toner kept at the location of each printer. This is part of their standard service when a device is set up.
Printer toner is automatically ordered when toner reaches 20%.
Shipping usually takes 2 to 5 days. To track progress:

  1. Go to the Konica Minolta support website.
  2. Click 'Order Toner and Consumables'.
  3. Enter the serial number of the device and the postcode of the UQ campus you're on.

Ricoh

Printer toner is automatically ordered when the device calculates there is less than 12 days of toner remaining. The automatic order will only be processed if their system shows that any spare toners provided have been used.

Shipping usually takes 2 to 5 days. To track progress:

  1. Go to the Ricoh Service Request website.
  2. Enter the serial number of the device and the postcode of the UQ campus you're on.

Fujifilm

Printer toner is automatically ordered when toner reaches 20%.

Shipping usually takes 2 to 3 days.

Paper jam or service

If a printer has a paper jam or needs service, follow the instructions below for the device make.

Konica

  1. Go to the Konica Minolta support website.
  2. Click 'Request Support or Service'.
  3. Enter the serial number of the device and the postcode of the UQ campus you're on.

UQ has a response time of 2 hours for service technicians to fix issues and this is serviced directly by Konica.

  1. Go to the Ricoh Service Request website.
  2. Enter the serial number of the device and the postcode of the UQ campus you're on.

UQ has a response time of 4 hours for service technicians to fix issues and this is serviced directly by Ricoh.
