Procurement fundamentals

The Procurement fundamentals online training is designed for anyone who coordinates or is involved in the procurement of goods or services at UQ.

Corporate credit card holders, contract delegates and financial delegates all need to be familiar with UQ’s Procurement Policy and Procedures. The online training will help you with this.

The module covers:

• key terminology
• tools and templates
• exceptions from UQ’s Procurement Policy, and
• procurement requirements for different spend values.

We strongly encourage you to complete the assessment at the end of the module.

Probity in procurement

The Probity in procurement online training module is designed for anyone who coordinates or is involved in the procurement of goods or services at UQ.

The module covers:

• probity fundamentals
• key probity principles
• tips and pathways for additional support.

We strongly encourage you to complete the assessment at the end of the module.

Queensland Government procurement courses

The Queensland Government offers 3 free online training modules for anyone who coordinates or is involved in the procurement of goods or services at UQ.

Access the training:

• Beginner's guide to the Queensland Procurement Policy
  Outlines Queensland Procurement Policy principles and how they are applied to procurement activities.
• Introduction to good practice contract management
  Provides information about what good practice contract management includes, from contract initiation to close-out.
• Introduction to good practice social procurement
  Enables better understanding of social procurement and how you can seek social benefit opportunities throughout procurement activities.

We strongly encourage you to complete the assessment at the end of each module.
