Carpentry internal (ServiceFM problem type)
Here's what you can and can't submit under the 'Carpentry internal' problem type in ARCHIBUS.

This problem type includes:
- Broken glass doors and windows
- Blinds
- Curtains
- Carpets (non-serviceable)
- Ceilings, including stained ceiling tiles
- Doors
- Door closers
- Dead animal
- Hand towel dispensers faults
- Fly screens
- Hand rails attachment
- Holes in walls
- Lecture theatre broken blackboards, projection screens, fixtures and fittings
- Partitions
- Shade sails
- Shelving
- Shower curtain faults
- Soap dispenser faults
- Toilet roll holder faults
- Windows, including broken glass, window leaksĀ and stuck windows.
Excludes
This problem type does not include:
- New installation of toilet roll holders, hand towel dispensers, shower curtains and soap dispensers. Select Cleaning.
- Auto-doors. Select Autodoors.
- Roller doors or shutters. Select Mechanical.
- External cladding, glazing or seating. Select Carpentry external.
- Picture hanging. This is a user-funded request.
- Whiteboards, noticeboards, pin-boards and corkboards. This is a user-funded request.
- Carpet that is still serviceable. This is a user-funded request.
Information required
When logging a service request, please provide the following information:
Broken glass doors and windows:
- Is the area secure?
- Is it cracked or shattered?
- Is it dangerous or pose a safety concern?
- Can it be locked at night for security reasons?
- Is there glass on the floor?
- Is it internal or external? Provide specific location information (i.e. include the room number and mark on a floor plan).
Blinds:
- Are they internal or external?
Doors:
- Is it securable?
- Include a detailed description.
Lecture theatre broken blackboards, projection screens, fixtures and fittings:
- When is the room available (time and date)?
