Listen to the UQ ChangeMakers podcast

5 April 2018

The Office of Marketing and Communications has launched a new podcast series called UQ ChangeMakers.

From incredible discoveries and groundbreaking research to inspiring leadership and innovation, the podcast series tells the stories of some of the most influential members of the UQ community.

The first season kicks off with an enthralling interview with UQ palaeontologist Dr Steve Salisbury, who has helped unearth thousands of dinosaur footprints in Western Australia. He tells how he and his team braved crocodiles, massive tides and the threat of development to unveil the most diverse assemblage of dinosaur tracks in the world.

Other guests to be featured this season include award-winning journalist and UQ’s new UNESCO Chair in Journalism and Communication Professor Peter Greste, and psychology lecturer and Australian Red Cross Blood Service Chair in Donor Research Professor Barbara Masser.
