With Wear It Purple Day coming up soon, the Workplace Diversity and Inclusion team needs your help to help raise awareness of this important day!
There are two key ways to get involved for now – please email ideals@uq.edu.au by Thursday 5 August for more information if:
1) you have a LGBTQIA+ story you are willing to share, or
2) you can record and send us a 10-second video of you or your team wearing purple and saying EITHER “I’m wearing purple to show my support for my LGBTQIA+ [friends/family/colleagues/students],” OR “Start the conversation… keep it going!”
Any recording device including a smartphone is fine, but please record your video horizontally (landscape orientation).
Stories and videos will be shared with our community for Wear It Purple Day on 27 August.
