Delivery issues for IT and AV equipment

Like the rest of the world, we are experiencing reduced availability and extended delivery times for a number of products across the IT industry.  Delivery times are being impacted by a range of factors, such as:

  • shortages of components impacting manufacturing
  • shortages of cardboard impacting packaging
  • delays with freight and shipping due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

At the time of writing, delays can range from a couple of weeks to 10 weeks, depending on the supplier. ITS is working with our preferred suppliers to mitigate these impacts.

Delivery times are published against all standard computer models in UQeMarket and are kept up-to-date at the time of order. If you have any urgent requirements it's recommended you reach out directly to our suppliers to check for more accurate ETAs before placing orders to avoid disappointment. Please note that UQ staff must only use UQ authorised suppliers when purchasing IT and AV equipment.
