UQ H: drives (home drives) are being migrated to a more modern, supportable and cost-effective infrastructure. H: drives will be unavailable from 7–9am on Saturday 13 March 2021 while the migration takes place. If you require any of your home drive files between these times, ensure you save a copy elsewhere prior to 7am.
UQ managed Windows Computers
It is recommended that you save and close any open documents that are stored on your H: drive and log out of your computer before finishing work on Friday 12 March. If you do not log out of your computer on Friday 12 March you will need to log out and then log back into your computer after 9am Saturday 13 March, to reconnect your H: drive.
UQ Mac computers and non-UQ managed devices
Following the migration, you will need to remap to your H: drive. Instructions are available here.
