Staff from approved affiliated organisations can apply for an individual affiliate account to access UQ internet services and UQ staff car parking rates.

Business affiliates

Business affiliates are organisations located on a UQ campus or site, including UQ controlled entities, such as:

  • UQ Sport
  • JKTech
  • UniQuest
  • UQ College
  • UQ Health Care
  • UQ Residence.

If you are a temporary staff member not in the payroll system (Workday), but within a UQ organisational unit (UQ faculties, divisions or institutions), see UQ staff associate accounts.

An account will provide access to:

  • UQ's internet services and websites such as my.UQ.
  • UQ staff parking rates for hourly and capped daily parking using CellOPark for UQ controlled entities and UQU staff. Enter your UQ username into the 'My Profile' section of CellOPark app for the UQ staff rate to be automatically applied. For information about parking, visit the Parking at UQ webpage.

Research affiliates

Research affiliates located on a UQ campus or site can apply to use the AARNET network for their research requirements.

Before you apply, you need to get approval from your organisation liaison.

Apply for an affiliate account

To apply for an account, submit an application form (PDF, 1.1 MB).

You can also use this form to change or cancel your account.

You must include an account end date. Affiliate accounts can be authorised for:

  • full-time staff: 3 years maximum
  • casual staff: 1 year maximum.

If you want to sign the application form with an e-signature, complete the form using Adobe Acrobat or another PDF editor.
