Audio Visual Maintenance and Support Service
Support for Audio Visual related technology in specified teaching and meeting rooms. This includes regular equipment and systems testing and maintenance. Users in specified rooms have access to on-call help via telephone and in-person assistance.

- Regular checks of rooms.
- Telephone support (help line).
- In-person response.
- Remote monitoring.
- Pro-active maintenance, cleaning and alignment.
- Prompt fault rectification.
- Video conferencing support.
- Equipment repair (cost to customer unless on UQBookit system).
- Full AV support for ITS installed AV equipment.
- Advice for client's own connected equipment when interfacing with installed video and audio inputs in rooms.
- Consumable item replacement costs eg lamps, damaged HDMI leads.

Services Not Included
- Audio Visual design and installation service. This service is offered by ITS and a comprehensive quote will be provided covering all aspects of equipment supply, installation, programming and labour.
- Out of hours support by negotiation.
Consumption Management Tips
- Use the UQBookit booking system.
- Consult with ITS when refreshing AV equipment to ensure systems are maintained. Also, ITS is currently funded to replace AV equipment on a 7 year replacement cycle.
Unit of Charge and Charging Model
- Quote based on size of room, functionality and equipment.
- Replacement or equipment repair by manufacturer or agent is charged after quotation.
