Scheduled network outage – Sunday 22 March

ITS is upgrading the UQ network on Sunday 22 March.  A number of IT services will be briefly unavailable between 9am and 5pm while the work is underway. Any outages will be short and are expected to be no longer than 5 minutes at any one time.

A number of IT services will be unavailable at Herston during the upgrade, but you may also experience some short disruptions at other UQ locations.

Herston

If you are working at Herston campus on Sunday 22 March, you may experience a disruption to some UQ services including:

  • Shared and home drives
  • Videoconferencing services, such as Zoom
  • Desktop telephony services. Phone services in PC2 and PC3 labs will continue to function without interruption.

It is important to note that duress, freezer duress and nurse call alarms in the Centre for Clinical Research (CCR) and the Oral Health Centre will not be passed through to UQ security while the upgrade is underway.
