UQ Staff Intranet now live

From Tuesday 10 February, all staff can access the new UQ Staff Intranet. The Staff Intranet will replace the Current Staff website, which will go offline on Tuesday 3 March.

TIME rankings: UQ first in Australia

UQ has been ranked as Australia’s number one university – and 30th globally – in TIME Magazine’s inaugural World’s Top Universities ranking. This ranking assesses institutions on academic capacity and performance, innovation and economic impact, and global engagement. New parking app and staff permits are live

From Monday 9 February, there are new ways to pay for parking across UQ locations, including a new parking app, permits, and updated parking rates. If you need to drive to UQ campuses, make sure you have a 2026 staff permit before parking in designated zones, or use the PayStay app for casual parking.

Ready to Teach Week is this week

This week, get ready for Semester 1 by getting involved in Ready to Teach Week. Sessions from Monday 9 to Friday 13 February will cover practical tips on preparing students for learning with (and without) generative AI, inclusive teaching, data-driven teaching, presenting for educational media and more.
