National Reconciliation Week 2025: Bridging Now to Next

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) begins on Tuesday 27 May and runs until Tuesday 3 June. This year’s theme, Bridging Now to Next, signifies learning from the past and shaping a more inclusive future. There is a range of events for staff and students happening across all UQ campuses.

Awards for Excellence nominations closing

UQ Research Culture Awards

Don’t forget to submit your nomination for the 2025 UQ Research Culture Awards before 5pm on Wednesday 4 June. These awards recognise professional and academic staff across all disciplines and career stages who are making outstanding contributions to UQ’s research environment. If you know a UQ research hero, please consider nominating them.

New Records Management Procedure

UQ has published a new Records Management Procedure to help staff manage UQ’s records in line with the Public Records Act 2023. This includes new online guidance material and a searchable UQ records retention schedule to help staff understand how long to keep records.
