SAGE Athena Swan Cygnet Award

UQ has been awarded a SAGE (Science in Australia Gender Equity) Athena Swan Cygnet Award for transgender and gender-diverse inclusion. The award reflects years of work to remove structural barriers, improve visibility and understanding of gender diversity, and embed inclusion in policy and practice. This is UQ’s second Cygnet Award and is part of our pathway to Silver Institutional Award accreditation.

Academics: register to attend graduation ceremonies

Academic staff who received an email invitation at the end of October are encouraged to celebrate our newest graduating cohort by registering to attend December graduation ceremonies. The registration site is accessible to eligible staff only and will close at 5pm on Wednesday 3 December.

UQ Thanks You: Gatton and Herston
