What is the projects listing page?

The 'Projects' listing page is an automatic feed of current and past projects that have been published on your website. This page has the URL of https://yoursite.uq.edu.au/projects

For each project, the listing page shows a:

  • title (linked to the project)
  • start and end date.

New projects automatically appear under 'Current projects' when they are published. Once the project is over, it automatically moves to a 'Past projects' tab. Projects are grouped under these tabs by their funding source. Projects without a funding source are listed first.

A projects listing page can show up to 25 projects at a time – links to additional pages are included at the bottom of the page to allow users to access more projects.

There may be a short delay for new projects appearing or unpublished projects disappearing from the listing page due to page caching.

Use the projects listing page when you want to:

  • show all current projects grouped by funding source and in date order
  • have past projects listed separately.

How to enable the projects listing page

The pre-made project listing page can be requested by:

  • site coordinators
  • site builders.

Submit an IT request to have this page added to your site.

Once the projects listing page is switched on for your site, it will work automatically with the 'Project' content type – you don't have to do anything other than re-order the link in your main menu.

Best practice

  • Add a funding source and start and end dates for all projects, so they list correctly.
