I'm delighted to invite you to attend one of our UQ Thanks You staff appreciation events for 2023.
These end-of-year celebratory events are an opportunity to say thanks to our teams, working right across UQ, and to have a bit of fun as we wrap up another busy year.
The events will be held across our 3 main campuses in late November. Our theme this year is ‘Queensland Summer’, and there will be a prize for the ‘most summery’ shirt or hat at each location.
All continuing, fixed-term, and casual staff are welcome to attend. All casual staff can include their attendance at these events on their timesheets.
UQ Thanks You events are for staff only. Please register with your staff email address.
Herston: Friday 17 November 2023, 2–5pm
Green Space, corner of Herston Road and Ring Road, UQ Herston
Gatton: Tuesday 21 November 2023, 12–3pm
Central Walkway, UQ Gatton
St Lucia: Friday 24 November 2023, 2–5pm
Great Court, UQ St Lucia
Regional teams: If you work outside of Brisbane or Gatton, you will also have the opportunity to celebrate your team’s achievements. Please register your interest here and the UQ Events team will contact you with further information.
